    Hi Kishore,

Welcome to LearnHub! Each school has different entrance and english language requirements so it can be a bit confusing when you start researching. Do you have any particular schools in mind?

Thompson Rivers University and Saint Mary’s University are two great Canadian MBA schools that both work with LearnHub and would love to hear from you!

Thompson Rivers requires an IELTS of at least 6.5 with no bands below 6.0 while Saint Mary’s University also accepts an IELTS score.

McGill University’s MBA program does accept the IELTS exam. Pasted below are their admissions requirements for the MBA program straight from their website. It looks like you will need an IELTS band of 7.0 or higher to be accepted.

“What are the minimum admission requirements for entry into the MBA program ? Candidates applying must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 out of 4.0. Additionally, all applicants must pass the GMAT test. Although there is no set minimum, the typical average is 650. For candidates whose mother tongue is not English and who have not completed their degree in an English speaking country, the TOEFL or IELTS is required. The minimum TOEFL score is 600 (paper based), 250 (computer based) or 100 (internet based). The minimum overall band for the IELTS is 7.0. Additionally, all applicants must have a minimum of two years of work experience following their undergraduate degree.”

    Dear Manojkumar,

Please tell us about the course that you are planning to pursue and also about your work experience. If you are looking for an MBA, since for most of the decent B-Schools work experience is must, definitely your work experience will help you to get admission.

    Regards
